These processes could be, for eg, the following: emulsifiers for agrichemicals, coating enhancers, antifoaming in paper industry, wetting agents, etc.
Specialty Chemicals pricing is based more on their performance than on the cost per mass (unlike fine chemicals).
Specialty Chemicals are sold more with a
proper name of the manufacturer than with the name of a molecule itself.
